1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Goat Manager Global. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and agricultural data services. By creating an account, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Goat Manager mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Goat Manager provides an intuitive, offline-first digital operating system designed for small ruminant livestock management. The Service allows users to record, track, and manage herd health, daily operations, and farm profitability.

3. Medical and Veterinary Disclaimer

Important: Goat Manager is a data management and operational tool. The information, plans, and insights provided through the Service (including purchased Herd Health Management Plans, Feeding Plans, and Vaccination Schedules) are for informational and organizational purposes only. Goat Manager does not provide professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian regarding the health and medical conditions of your livestock.

4. User Accounts and Data

  • Registration: To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Data Ownership: You retain ownership of the raw data (field notes, herd records) you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant Goat Manager a license to host, store, and process this data to provide and improve the Service.
  • Data Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Instructions for data deletion can be found on our Data Deletion page (as required by Google Play Store policies).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful agricultural and farm management purposes. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Purchases and E-Commerce

Certain digital products (e.g., Housing Blueprints, Feeding Plans) or premium app features may be offered for purchase. All sales of digital downloads are final and non-refundable once the download or access has been granted, unless otherwise required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the Goat Manager logo, design, software, and provided educational content, are exclusively owned by Goat Manager. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal or internal business operations.

Our services may display or rely on third-party digital assets, open-source libraries, or typographic styling governed by external licensing frameworks, such as the Google Fonts Terms of Service

8. “Offline-First” Functionality and Syncing

Goat Manager is designed as an offline-first tool to accommodate disconnected environments. While we strive for reliability, Goat Manager is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, damage, or improper syncing when returning to internet connectivity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goat Manager and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of livestock, data loss, or business interruption arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.

10. Modifications to these Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
